A dream realized
Creating a sanctuary where folks from all over come to heal and reconnect to themselves and nature has always been the dream. When we found this land which used to be a kids summer camp, we knew we could build something really beautiful and devote our lives to it. This project is a path of devotion and an offering back to humanity and to spirit for all of the love that has been bestowed upon us. Heaven is not something to wait to die for, it is a living energy that we contribute to with our every breath, our words, our actions and our focus. This Sanctuary is our humble attempt at creating a place from the spirit of love that is healing, safe, beautiful, and deeply seeded with prayerfulness and the light of consciousness celebrating this chance to be alive and breathing.
About us
Rachael & Trevor Batchelder
We are so blessed beyond belief to be co-creating the Rose light Sanctuary together as our dharma in this life. Having been together since 2013, our love has always centered around transformation, Healing, and our shared love of holistic wellness. our first date was at a hot spring in California and it has been our dream of creating a healing sanctuary where people from all over the world come to heal and connect to nature and the elements. after our marriage in 2020, life has been guiding us towards this land which we found in the spring of 2023 where we have been passionately devoting our love to transforming this place into our vision. We look forward to see what magick will unfold through this project.
Trevor bio
trevor brings so much to Rose Light Sanctuary with his extremely keen eye for design, his excellent skills in carpentry, and his powerhouse attitude of taking on the hardest projects and seeing them through to completion. All of the structural elegance of our retreat center comes from trevor's genius. Trevor also has many other gifts to bring to our team as a stunning photographer and videographer, a multi media production and tech wizard, and a sound engineer. Trevor is our head chef and can create inspiring and healthy gourmet food at the drop of a dime. He is also the creator of the Dream Alchemy online course and brings his wisdom and passion for dreaming as a teacher here at the Sanctuary. Trevor trains as a fitness master and brings his passion to exercise and embodied strength. He is so excited to connect with guests visiting our Retreat and Home and cannot wait to share his many gifts through our sanctuary offerings.
Rachael bio
Rachael is the spirit behind the Rose Light Sanctuary as her personal devotional path has blossomed through the birthing of this project. As a sacred birth keeper, a midwife, a medicine Woman and a priestess of the rose, Rachael knows her life of service in offering back to humanity is woven into the golden threads of the Rose light Sanctuary. Her deep intuitive skills in the healing arts include her service as a flower essence practitioner, a bodyworker, a sound healer, and a ceremonialist. Rachael is the creatrix of an online course and community called Elemental Birth Rites, which supports the reclamation of pregnancy and birth as a sacred rites of passage for families and birth workers alike. Rachael shares her passion for prayer, ceremony, song, plant spirit medicine and wisdom exchange through many of the offerings at the Sanctuary. She is also our resident baker, gardener, and events manager. She is deeply inspired by this incredible project and cannot wait to weave her magick through the offerings available here.
